What laura2529 doesn't like about Brown Sugar:
Unfortunately I can’t review the food, so this is just a review of my experience. I was looking forward to eating here, however I stood waiting to ask for a table for 2, only to be ignored by all 3 staff, so went elsewhere. Updated from previous review on 2022-10-23 View all feedback.
I stumbled upon Brown Sugar to escape the heavy rain and I'm so glad I did. The coffee and carrot cake were delicious. I give the food a 5-star rating, the service a 5-star rating, and the atmosphere a 4-star rating.
Great food and service, lovely place for breakfast or food throughout the day! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sausage
Great spot for when you get a bit tired of all the fish (I know, sorry! . Great choice of brunch options, and the lunch food sounded really interesting and tasty. Loads of hot and cold drink options, and the cakes looked YUM. Reasonable prices too, right in the centre of town by the church. I have tricky dietary requirements, and they were great and working the menu to my needs, so I was able to eat a full meal! Dietary restrictions: They were really fab at working with me to find a plate that suited me in every way! Parking: No on-street parking whatsoever. Definitely park in the big car park up the hill. It’s not too tricky to get down into town, or a shuttle bus is available for anyone who needs it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Eggs Benedict Parking space Difficult to find parking

Overall, a fantastic dining experience worth seeking out.
During our visit to Fowey, we had one of the best breakfasts we've had in a very long time at this restaurant! The coffee was also delicious, thank you! The service, atmosphere, and food were all top-notch, receiving a perfect score of 5 in each category. The price per person for breakfast was between £10-20.
