Great food and atmosphere. The food reminded us of when we lived on Oahu. We had the garlic shrimp plate, 3 meat plate, and a kids chicken tenders. And the staff was friendly. We’ll be back. View all feedback.
What Stephanie Viczi doesn't like about Hangry Ohana:
If I were the Health Department, this place would be shut down immediately. There were 4 visible employees, 4 customers, vomit on the floors in the eating area, no clean areas, trash, paper, food, spilled drinks...on every single table. We paid for our food at 1328 and we received it at 1407, 39 minute wait and the excuse was we had to make bacon fried rice , which is on the menu. I have never been so disgusted by a... I have never been so disgusted by a place, aside from a porta-potty at a rock concert. A complete waste of 35.00...the food is mediocre at that. I really should have taken photos....
Waited an hour and 20 minutes. Then they lost our order. Mess of a place. Meal type: Lunch
Just finished eating at this establishment. The food was overcooked, dry, even out right burned in some spots. The poke was very salty and a little sketchy. Couldn't finish eating it. For 3 very lack luster meals, you'll pay $60+. Don't waste your time or money!
Just moved here from Hawaii. Got a work event tomorrow to hail me in so I figure I'll bring in some musabi's to show some island culture. Looked up musabi places and this was the closest to my house. Boy I'm glad I went there in person and tried out the musabi before ordering a whole tray. It tasted like it's been in the fridge for days and they just threw it in the microwave. I also got the Angry plate and by far the worst bbq plate I've had. I hope ppl don't think that this is how island food is. Far from it. I hope the restaurant improves but until then I'm good.
Well I can at least say that you know all the other restaurants have been there. I waited almost 8 minutes before I started calling out to find someone to serve me. When they did take my order I don't understand what was wrong but the young lady could not get tater tots out of her mind even though I kept asking for potato salad. I got my food with tater tots I left those behind, I ordered the bacon fried rice and the ohana plate. So the panko chicken was okay as long as I ate it immediately otherwise it got dryer along the way. The other meat was burnt so I'm not too sure if that was supposed to be another thing of chicken maybe teriyaki I don't know it was grill burnt, but the pork was good. The bacon fried rice if it wasn't for the bacon bits in it I would have known it was bacon fried rice I just could not taste the bacon flavoring. At first I thought this place was similar to the one I visited in Killeen Texas. Now I am hoping it's not and that they're not associated in any way shape or form with that family down there. I can just say that I was completely disappointed for my first time in and I will not be revisiting.
