Joey's Pizza - Fountain Valley

I have visited this restaurant twice with a few years between visits. My friend and I absolutely love Joey's pizza. Whenever we are in California, we always make sure to stop by and get a pizza from Joey's. However, during our most recent visit in October 2022, we were quite disappointed. The pizza was mediocre, the staff at the register was rude, and the prices seemed high. The pizza had an excessive amount of grease on it, causing it to fall apart. Overall, our third visit was a letdown and we will not be returning in the future.

Joey's Pizza is hands down the best pizza you will ever taste outside of New York City. Despite having tried many delicious pizzas in California and even making my own, Joey's Pizza surpasses them all. My friends and I regularly make the 40-minute drive to this restaurant and have never been disappointed. I also witnessed the owner going out of his way to offer special deals to customers in need, which I found to be incredibly commendable. While I'm sure his business is thriving, I believe people should know about the exceptional quality and kindness at Joey's Pizza.

The pizza at this restaurant is amazing! It is so delicious and cheesy, with the cheese stretching with every bite. The crust is soft and the pizza floor has a crisp to it. I usually stick to pure cheese or pepperoni, so my opinion is somewhat limited, but my friend loves getting her pizza slice loaded with toppings. Every time I visit Savers, I make sure to stop by for a slice as a perfect end to a day of scavenging. They have different specials, although I can't remember them off the top of my head. I usually get 2 slices and a soda, with what seems like unlimited refills. If you're a sports fan, you'll love this place, as they always have different sports playing on the TV. The staff is all male and they are quick to serve you with a pleasant and polite attitude. In my opinion, this place deserves more than 5 stars.

From Boston to Maine Florida west to California this is by far one of the best pizza I had In a long time I will definitely give them 5 stars very happy?

Delicious and authentic Italian food! Loved the pizza and the speghetti with meatballs! Definitely fresh and hit the spot after a long day at the beach!
