The bakery store is located in fountain valley, super friendly staff, I've tried one of their best sellers, the purple ube cookie, super sweet taste and the texture was very dense. There is a sampler pack available, which is good for trying out different flavors. View all feedback.
BUDDERS COOKIES ARE ALWAYS ON POINT, STOP BY THE FARMER'S MARKET ON SATURDAYS AND MAKE SURE YOU TRY ONE OF EACH I GUARANTEE YOU'LL BE HOOKED. IN BUENA PARK.
With the amazing reviews and the great presentation, I really wanted to like the cookies here. Note: The process of ordering is a bit sketch since you have to either order online or call in an order to be picked up on the side alleyway of a strange building. (I definitely wouldn't order from this place past sunset) We ordered 6 cookies (Cookie N Creme, Ube, Trip to Japan, Swiss Chocolate, Birthday and Strawberry Red Velvet). Upon first enjoying the warm cookies, they tasted pretty good actually (especially the Ube). However, as I made my way through the box, trying a bit of each cookie at a time, I realized that the flavor profile wasn't very strong with each cookie. The presentation is amazing but the cookies started to taste very similar. Very dough-y and flour-y with a bit of each flavor coming through. Unfortunately, these remained on my counter for a few days before going into the trash. I think if I got one or two cookies, I might have had a different experience but having tried a bunch, I was just very turned off by the lack of flavor.
Sigh. I wish I could give Budder 's Bakery a better rating than three stars, but sadly, I think this place isn 't good could 've been better. I would love to piggyback Miguel C. 's feedback because his experience 100% resonated with my friends and me. Obviously, if you 've been here, you order in the jankiest location, at a parking lot behind a warehouse door. Despite the way to order, you encounter the friendliest and funniest owner of the bakery. She turned this initial weird experience into a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience. It was just a pleasant time engaging with the baker, understanding how she came to be, who previously was a home baker who turned her business commercially. Props to her because this must 've taken a lot of sweat, stress, and money for her dreams to come true! We started ordering, and my good friend decided to order a couple of cookies but was told by the baker that they had a $16 Peanut Butter Filled Nutella Sea Salt Cookie Pie. Knowing my friend loves peanut butter and Nutella, he took the bite and ordered that instead of the cookies he initially wanted. However, once he took a bite off of it, it was not was he expected. I, too, took a piece and was very disappointed. It was overly salted, and overall the cookie was dry. Actually, to our dissatisfaction, all the cookies were pretty much dry, not moist (contrary to what the other reviewers said). Unfortunately, they were flavourless, like they definitely needed to be sweeter. And no, we don 't have COVID; we know what cookies should taste, and these sadly were not it. I understand that the cookies are intended to be less sweet, but sometimes when you order something that is Nutella or Peanut Butter, you expect the cookie to be sweet because that 's the nature of those products. In this case, I 'm sorry, Budder 's, but your cookies were disappointing. It disappointed us because we were having a good time communicating with you when ordering. Still, after this experience, you practically sold us your cookies (as a businesswoman should), but we were just let down by your products. Perhaps your cookies didn 't tailor to us, a mid-20s crowd who are on the edge of still liking sweet stuff but not overly sweet. I also would like to mention the Organic Tea I ordered with light ice. Honestly, I love tea; I 'm originally from the SGV, so I believe I know my tea well. But this tea was subpar. When I was given the tea, the ice was non-existent, making the drink watered and essentially flavourless. I was super disappointed because it just tasted like water. Obviously, when you order light ice, you expect light ice. One solution would be to use a shaker and shake the tea with ice to keep it chilled, then add light ice to the cup and pour it. However, this was not the case which resulted in watered-down tea. Overall, my friends and I were dissatisfied, we never finished our cookies, although they would typically take 5-8 bites to consume, and I had to throw away my drink before it reached halfway. I hope you do well in your business and take my review at least with a grain of salt.
I had a hard time finding this place, but it was all worth it! The cookies here are crispy on the edges with a soft&chewy center... so yummy! Out of all the cookies I tried, I enjoyed the purple cookie and reese's pb the most. These bad boys took about 15 mins to come out so please don't come here if you're in a rush.
As I was delivering for a service I got a chance to pick up for business it looks very interesting to me I’ve never heard of virtual kitchens before but it’s a great way for a small business to begin and that’s where I met the owner Kathryn, what a cool lady.I would highly recommend this business she is very hard-working and I had to sample her products after I was done delivering I came right back the drink that I had was so smooth sweet and creamy rich that I wish it came in a paint size bucket…It was incredibly good this young lady has an incredible future ahead of her not to mention they have wedding cake cookies…So why aren’t you there yet? It’s a small business so if they get busy you need to be patient because each product is made by the owner and delivered by the owner…Where else are you gonna get that kind of quality?Try the special V drink!!!!!! Mega super YUM!
