on the advice of a local person we visited this address. the manager at the entrance is very smiling and friendly. He can speak to the children. If I don't recommend leffe in pressure and white wine in a bad way the meals are good. The meat is fresh. Fried houses. small but very good molds. View all feedback.
What Aarushi Edwin doesn't like about L'auberge du chateau:
a fairly ordinary establishment. fries served are poor, cooked probably in an oil that has been widely used. But we were the first customers. and we wait too long before we can order dessert once the meal is eaten. View all feedback.
We have chosen this restaurant online because of its location and interesting menu. we were not disappointed! we had a pleasant meal, punctured by chats with the friendly manager. highly recommended.
My friend and I stopped in the next season before we walked around the castle. as others have pointed out, this restaurant is in the best location, so we were a bit doubtful what it would be like to say. we had nothing to fear! Not only was the food excellent, the service was relaxed, secret and prompt. the waiter was also very happy to practice us French that was a bonus. I would say that it's worth a visit if they're over.
We arrived late, had not booked and had luck getting a table out. the restaurant is located in the tourist trap centrally in fougeres, so we were a bit worried that eating could be a bit hurry. not a little. we both ordered the...Moule Fries, there are decisions, I had normande with apfel in the sauce, my wife had them roquefort soße they needed to come, but were absolutely excellent. I don't know what the fries were cooked, in I think bark meat or geese fat certainly not oil, but they were amazingly good. also the desserts were excellent. beautiful house wine. the service was a little slow that they were very busy, so I forgive them and on the square there was a local gitarrist who played gently. many observe how people wander during our cozy lunch in the burg next to the restaurant.
Sitting outside with the chateau across the way, and a view of the cathedral up the hill was a great setting. The food, Magret de Canard, very nicely cooked and the mussels were wonderful. A great find.
At just 14 euros 50 each, this menu was lovely. Salad for starters, veal chunks in sauce, chocolate mouse for me and Apple tart for him. Great value, finished off with bolee of cider. Great service and wonderful location, sat overlooking the chateaux on a...beautiful summer's day. What a lovely way to spend the last day of our holidays!
