Our tour of the countryside was completed by a stop in Fougeres, France at Le Haute Seve, where we enjoyed a memorable evening. The decor is interesting, modern and quirky, and the food was quite delicious, presented beautifully by our amazing server Adrian. (not sure...of the spelling of his name). Overall, quite delightful! What Roger Delannoy doesn't like about Haute Sève:
this place was so overpriced and disappointing. Usually on the menu of the day there is a choice, but not here and we will, I don't want to write negatiw about a place. but if they offer water as part of the menu, d’jour its. a bit sweat. cafes, in which workers go offer a karaffe of wein or apfel wine with their menu and eating is tastier and the half of the price. Exceptional food quality and presentation, great service, great value at the price. this is a hidden gem, how to inexpensive high quality foods.

The deserts were also spectacular-the best ever creme brulee and an apple tart with fresh Granny Smith apple sorbet. I am in heaven!
We came for my dad's birthday. I phoned the day before because I suffer from food intolerance in order to predict with the cook what was possible ... it's simple nothing is possible, and it's very unpleasant and tells me that it has something else to do, the call is swept in 1 minutes (I can understand that it doesn't want to take a risk it offers me to bring my meal up)On the day, we come out I'm coming to the aperitif, and the manager is distributing the cards to everyone except for me. I still order an aperitif. the appetizer is served by the manager and a waitress, and we wait "to this is the woman." nice ... the waitress returns and asks me if I brought my meal, I get out my boxes and I ask to warm up the pot in the entrance. She comes back, and asks me how the cook must warm him...I answer him "to the pan" ... and raise his eyes to the sky...Sympa the ambience of family order, they are disappointed by the simplicity of the dishes...the very average foie gras at the level of seasoning and quality...Bref, a bad experience...I understand that he does not take a risk with the difficult hearings, I already drive it 2 months after I went to another restaurant of the same style in Mayenne to the heel of saddle, and the cook took the time (or 5 minutes) I was not sick and the meal was of another service (kitchen, service, .) I wish you a big question on the care of intolerances
Dinner at 6 last night. the atmosphere is fierce, but the reception lacks heat. Women have received a muette card (beautiful attention.) you have to hurry to choose because you are warned about a little tone leads that the aperitif will only be served once the orders have been placed...The dishes are a little too complex and sometimes it is done at the expense of the tastes as for the yellow place to the conte and lard of colonata, potato galette and papillote of forgotten vegetables, an enemy cream to the . foie gras on the other hand was perfect for simplicity. Thank you for him.The plates are well-stocked, and the service lacks heat and flexibility.
Flat really very good! Probably the best restaurant in my history. On the other hand, I don't like the decoration at all.
