I had a fantastic Indian meal at this restaurant! The prices for a delicious curry or Butter Chicken range from $18 to $20, which is quite reasonable. Beers are available for $7, including imports like Kingfisher stubbies. Is this the most affordable beer in the area? Plus, on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 5 to 7 PM, all drinks are just $5! Incredible! For appetizers, you can enjoy Duck Spring Rolls and Samosas. They also offer vegetarian options and a large "Western menu" for those who might prefer something other than Indian food. If you’re concerned about spice, just ask for a milder option. The food was served promptly and with a warm smile. The place is clean and well-organized, and it's nice to note that the staff are locals.
I ordered the soup of the day, which was conveniently dairy-free—definitely a 10 out of 10! The cake was also delicious; it was dairy-free once I removed the icing. My friends, who are gluten intolerant, were well catered for as well.
The restaurant is well-maintained, and the food is incredibly delicious and satisfying, all at an affordable price.
We were quite disappointed with both the food and service during our takeaway dinner. We ordered two butter chickens, some extra roti, and egg noodles. Unfortunately, the portions of both the butter chicken and noodles were very small. The butter chicken had a flavor reminiscent of fresh tomato purée with only a few tiny pieces of overcooked chicken, and the roti was so crispy it was akin to papadam. The egg noodles were passable, but overall, the dinner did not justify the price, considering the quality and quantity we received.
