While certain dishes like the chicken omelette and pancakes received favorable mention for taste and presentation, others criticized the food quality and the lack of traditional options like biscuits. Long waits for tables and understaffed kitchen conditions have been pointed out, raising concerns about the overall dining experience. Despite these issues, loyal customers appreciate the attentive staff and generous portions, making it a notable choice for breakfast in the area.
The food was good, but the service was a bit lacking. The hostess, if you can even call her that, did not greet us when we arrived and did not speak or understand English. Perhaps the management should consider finding a different position for this individual that does not require much interaction with the public.
I ordered the pancake special and tried the pumpkin stack. I wasn't sure if the topping was whipped butter or whipped cream. The bacon was thin and just okay. The sausage was not grilled, but it was probably a good thing. There was no toast, but the country fried potatoes were cooked perfectly.
The food was good, but not unique. We had a long wait for a table because the kitchen was understaffed that day. However, the wait staff was excellent, providing great service with a smile despite the difficulties.
