Unfortunately according to their signage they are permanently closing as of January 1st. I believe that this is the only place to eat in the area so if you're looking for food, stop by. The service was great and so was the food. They use locally sourced beef and fresh vegetables. If you have a chance to stop by before they close you MUST try the cheese curds.

I think it's the only restaurant open in town, but I wasn't disappointed in the least. My husband ordered the steak sandwich special, while I enjoyed cheese curds alongside my Wisconsin burger on a pretzel bun with beer cheese. Everything was simply amazing!

Food was spectacular (delicious Halibut fish and chips, burgers, veggie sandwiches and amazing homemade fries! , but the real highlight of our dinner was the live music, which was fantastic! All around excellent service and just a fantastic way to wind down after a long road trip and great day visiting the John Day area. Highly recommend!!
