The exterior of the restaurant is adorned with beautiful carvings, and there is a cemetery surrounding it. We didn't have a chance to go inside, but they were in the process of adding new decorations that I imagine will give it the classic look of a church castle.

We easily found parking nea... read more We visited the church in Clay on a beautiful, sunny day. The style of the church is different from Gol or Heddal, but still amazing. We easily found parking near our hotel and were able to enjoy the church almost entirely to ourselves, as we arrived before the tour buses unloaded their groups. A ticket is required to enter, but it is definitely worth seeing this impressive church.
