very good the simple focaccia (I tasted a couple of slices of what we kindly led to deceiving the wait,) great the tortellini in brodo that I had the opportunity to find in the menu in an evening where I really wanted a comforting dish. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Da Filippo Al Forte:
the place, one of my favorites when it was called albarosa, did not change, the kitchen yes. very good the focaccetta that they carry waiting for the first dish, but the menu is a middle way between sea and land that does not reach an adequate level neither for the sea nor for the land. the parmigiana of aubergines of appetizer was too heavy, overmoded, the fried lacked lightness. very good service with attentive and... To eat well and not to be robbed it is no longer necessary to move and to dare from the fort of the marbles...”Pietrasanta” opened also here, finally! a name, a guarantee...as in the most famous inland, Filippo proposes to strong of the marbles a sincere, clean, of great quality. delicious and well-kept dishes, which differ from the monothematic photocopy menus of the other restaurants in the area. the local, very well attended, is nice, nice, pleasant both out and inside. the service is slender, sympathetic. Excellent wine card, suitable for the type, with perfectly calibrated prices, honest. the young sommelier. The account is correct, non-economic, but proportionate to the quality of the products and the place. Recommended!
Eating well in summer in Versilia, according to my modest opinion, has become in recent years a problem. in fact they are a little too fashionable, with very high prices compared to the culinary proposals offered and with times of waiting sometimes biblical. Despite all this, they waited to book a place, especially on weekends, they became very long. Fortunately there is a thread to the fort that in a nice discreet environment and a little far from the lime of the fort of the marbles, proposes a cuisine of meat and fish interesting at reasonable prices for the square in question. Filippo I had already known him in his previous stone experience with a refined and a little more elaborate cuisine, which I had liked very much. last year I had already been in the club for the marbles to eat its good pizzas. this I have had the opportunity to taste its proposals of fish dishes and also this time I am very pleased. its is a simple kitchen, with firm Tuscan roots but oriented towards the search of quality raw materials. very good the spaghetti with the arselle, the branzino fished in the sea salt and baked in the wood oven, the fried sea and the scampi always cooked in the wood oven. good and fast service; very valid the wine card.
