We arrived in Forte on a Sunday night and wanted to have pizza at a restaurant within walking distance from our hotel. This place was recommended. The pizza was thin crust and tasty. It was off season but the restaurant was fairly filled up. The service was good and the outdoor atmosphere lively. View all feedback.
What Serzh44 doesn't like about Al Bocconcino:
We sat down at an empty table. A waiter came up to us and asked if we had reserved a table. I said no. The waiter left, did not serve us, did not explain anything. There was no sign with a reserve on the table, and there were many empty tables around. It was very rude. I was with my family. View all feedback.
Excellent restaurant in the central square to strong of the marbles. great for those who want to eat a pizza on the fly and just for those who want to stay all evening and get really good dishes. fried and special because made without oil, abundant and really good. I also recommend spaghetti with clams, as well as the rest. very kind staff and really competitive prices. only problem: do not think you can get there and eat without having booked in the peak days because the place is very popular.

Have no idea why this place gets anything but good reviews. This was the best pizza we’ve ever had. The service was good. We got seated at the time we’d booked at 9.15pm. Amazing pizza. Great buzzy atmosphere too.
Whilst the food was good the service was appalling. I have never been in a situation where someone’s main course arrived before their starter, this happened to two of our party of 8. Another two received their food at least 20 mins after everyone else. It was so bad we cancelled the booking we made for later in the week. Not recommended.
Appalling service we had to wait a full 30 mins between first family ammeter receiving food to the others, only excuse us they are ‘busy’ do not bother with this restaurant their are plenty of other choices without the poor service and considerable price paid for this poor service ! Avoid !!
