In Fort Worth for the day and searched for a breakfast restaurant. I highly recommend this place. The service was attentive but not hovering. I like my eggs cooked soft and hardly anybody cooks them correctly for me but my eggs were perfect. The coffee is tasty as was the bacon and sausage. We always feel like if the bathroom is dirty then what does the kitchen look like. The public areas were clean including the bat... View all feedback.
What Nate Taylor doesn't like about Yolk Sundance Square:
My wife speaks Spanish and I do not. She let our server know and our server continued to only talk to my wife in Spanish and ignored me. We found it to be quite rude. Food was average. View all feedback.

I wish I had one of these places closer to home. I loved my oatmilk horchata. Since I went twice to this place during my time in Ft. Worth I enjoyed the Chicken And Waffles and took a chance on one of their many options of eggs Benedict. Both were made perfectly ?. This place is consistent and clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. My only complaint is there isn't one in the DC metro area! Also, loved the habañero sauce!!!
I'm only writing this because I have some serious health concerns after eating there. We sat at the bar because there was no wait, and witnessed some concerning practices. First, the little glass mason jars they give you for water are filled with ice by dunking them directly into the ice bucket, sometimes 2 at a time (I could hear them clink against each other). Anyone with bar experience could tell you this is a good way to get a surprise glass shard in your ice. Second, the bottles of water they give to refill your water glasses are not cleaned between tables. They just bring them back behind the bar and refill them, they don't even dump them out, they just top it off and send it back out. No way to know if someone's hands or mouth had been on it before you got it. There was a manager there and he spent a good chunk of time behind the bar, which leads me to believe this isn't just an employee taking shortcuts, but is standard practice. I truthfully don't feel comfortable going back. The food is fine, the staff is fine, but the potential health risks are glaring.

Thank you Yolk staff for a great experience for this out-of-towner.
Food was great, no wait at 9:30 on the weekend, service was great, and it was surprisingly a great value. A lot of similar brunch spots won’t include pancakes with certain dishes like Yolk does.
