Our friends had recommended Waters. We weren't disappointed anyway. Our server, Val, was pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful. The Dirty Dozen? of fresh, chilled oysters on the half shell were excellent. The Red Fish, Crabs, Swordfish (especially) were all excellent. Like the gumbo and freshly grilled asparagus. It was a wonderful experience. Kellner was very professional and knowledgeable. Food was amazing!!! Every dish we ordered was delicious. Would recommend and will return!
I'm here for the 30th birthday. No special treatment regarding free dessert or anything, but you do not go to a restaurant owned by Jon Bonnell for it. They go for authentic gumbo and basil cream healbutt and lemon ice cream cakes that were all fantastic. The coffee after dinner was also delicious, which it had no business in an upscale fish restaurant.
I ate my birthday dinner here. You will present a happy birthday card and a candle in your dessert. The perfect little touches made it a beautiful birthday. The halibut was soooo good!! I think they become “texas rocker” Oysters were the best cooked oysters I've ever had!
