Shady Oak Barbecue Grill - Fort Worth

Had lunch at Shady Oak BBQ and barbecue with my friends. This place is incredible and what a story and the interior has a beautiful carving? especially John Wayne!!! The food here is great and our server Halley was just great. I went with the two meat BBQ plates selection of moist brisket, sausage, potato salad and Mac cheese. You will also bring this huge leaves of warm bread for you to the snack while waiting for your meal. The brisket was moist, delicate, hugely marbling, and a thick and tasteful bark? my favorite part of the meal. The sausage was mild and was good with the BBQ sauce. The pages were really good and that was a lunch that kept me full for the day? LOL This place serves some really good BBQ in a cool location!

Food was Delicious! Service was beyond spectacular! Had the 3 meat plate. Ribs, brisket, and sausage. Seems like each meal comes with corn on the cob as well, which was really good. We will definitely be back again.

The complimentary bread was delicious! The pulled pork was good as well. Service was great and fast considering the place was fairly busy during dinner hours. My server was friendly and attentive as well. Overall good experience from a first time visitor.

Came in late for a business trip. Wanted to redeem the last bbq I had in the north east. Shady Oak really came through!! Everything was true Texas amazing bbq! Had fall off the bone ribs, started with the bacon ends. It was all great from start to finish especially the cinnamon apples! Joel was a great server and made the experience even better. Was in and served all of my hot tasty bbq in under 20 minutes! Might try to stop back before I leave.

This was our first visit to Shady Oaks. It did not take long to receive our food. The portions are a nice size. I really like the black peppered sausage! The food was flavorful. Definitely get the potato salad as well. It is really good.
