One of the servers was extremely rude to me. Another server stepped in, apologized, and took my order. I really like Riscky's, but I will stop picking up lunch here if I'm treated that way again.

While the service was... read more We visited the Camp Bowie location to celebrate our daughter's birthday. The atmosphere was fantastic, just as it has been for many years. While the service was decent, the food—particularly the meats—left much to be desired. We ordered burnt ends, a sliced brisket plate, a rib basket, and brisket tacos. The burnt ends had potential with a flavorful sauce, but the meat was tough, dry, and mostly fatty. The brisket was extremely dry and difficult to eat, requiring generous amounts of BBQ sauce just to swallow it. The ribs were similarly dry and tough. I am honestly surprised that the restaurant would serve food of this quality. We've visited several locations over the years, and this was by far the worst experience we've had. Our meal cost over a hundred dollars for two adults and three kids, and for that price, one would expect much better quality.

The food was delicious, and the service at our table was outstanding! I believe our server's name was Alexis—she was incredibly attentive, always ensuring our drinks were full and that we were happy with our meals. We will definitely be returning, and we’ll be asking for her by name to be our server again.
