Freebirds World Burrito Sage Meadow

What is Freebirds? It's similar to Chipotle. In a world where Chipotle exists, why settle for something similar to Chipotle... and calling Freebirds similar to Chipotle is a bit of a stretch. The bowls at Freebirds are more expensive and half as full, so you end up paying more and getting less compared to Chipotle. If you order the 'Monster' size, you'll pay $3 more for a portion that's about the same as Chipotle but costs about $5 more... quite surprising. The Spanish rice is tasty, but there's barely enough to cover the bottom of the bowl. The beans are standard, and the amount of vegetables you receive is just enough to say you've had your daily intake, but not enough to check off the box on the food pyramid. The service was extremely slow, with two customers being helped by two associates who seemed uninterested and unhappy with their jobs. When they went to get items from the back, they moved at an excruciatingly slow pace. When it was finally my turn, there was no greeting, just a curt 'what do you want today.' When I changed my mind at the last minute about the salsa, the associate seemed annoyed, as if I hadn't even picked up the bottle yet. I ended up spending more on two bowls at Freebirds than I did on beverages at Cowboys stadium. Overall, my first experience at Freebirds was extremely disappointing.

My husband and I frequently visit this restaurant for Friday lunch dates. We absolutely love the bowls with red rice, dark chicken, and guacamole - they are unbeatable. One of my favorite things about lunch here is that I always have leftovers to take home for a late-night snack. Recently, they have started selling lemon cooler cookies that are so delicious, I have to buy extra for the weekend. Oh my goodness, they are so yummy!

Great place. Lots of choices to put in either a tortilla, bowl, salad or nachos. Will be back as the quality was outstanding

I was there tonight at 9pm. Best customer service ever. The employees were very personable, and polite. I was in getting a late night meal with my fiancé. The girl working the counter wrote his and hers on our Togo boxes. Cutest thing ever. 5 stars freebirds. 5 stars.

It's Freebirds, what the hell else would expect other than 5 stars!? Delicious as always and staff was awesome
