Fortuna Italian - Fort Worth

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. However, I wouldn't recommend ordering over the phone. I've attempted to do so four times recently and each time I ended up waiting for over an hour because their line was consistently busy. It seems like an employee might be chatting with friends instead.

The reservation process was a bit tricky to manage. The Resy website indicated that nothing was available, but when I called directly, I was able to secure a reservation and found plenty of tables open when we arrived. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our needs. However, we could have used a couple more visits from the staff during our meal, and they took away all my silverware after the appetizer without replacing it. We were seated and served in just over an hour. The restaurant seemed to be running smoothly, and I noticed some impressive teamwork among the staff. It was great to be in a place that appears to be well-staffed. I will definitely return!

This quaint Italian restaurant is situated on Camp Bowie, just south of I-30 in Fort Worth. I've dined here multiple times and have always left satisfied. The food is outstanding, made from scratch, and bursting with flavor. If you're looking to skip the pasta, they'll gladly replace it with steamed vegetables upon request. The dishes are light yet fulfilling. I highly recommend this spot!

We ordered a simple cheese and pepperoni pizza, but they added jalapeños even though we specifically requested them not to. They took the pizza to the back and just removed the jalapeños, leaving it extremely hot from them. When we brought this up, they argued with us, claiming they had remade the pizza, but we could tell they hadn't. It’s generally not acceptable to argue with customers. As a result, we decided to leave a negative review.

Fantastic food and wonderful staff! A delightful place for Italian cuisine and wine! The pizza is unbelievable!
