What Jose R doesn't like about El Patron:
I come here all the time, used to love this place but lately it’s going downhill, last 3x it’s always something bad. This last time, ordered 2x chilaquiles 9$ each and water and my order was 8$ more, I asked for the receipt and waitress shows it to me with no prices, SMH. I was to embarrassed to ask why she didn’t put the price, but never coming back. View all feedback.
Definitely a great place to eat excellent service when you see locals eating that's a good sign thank you for a great beef soup in the morning!! And we are from out of town visiting and it's a great feeling when we find a great place to eat ,very attentive service, again thank you, BLESSINGS
This quaint little spot may be small, but everything here is fantastic—even the salt! The menudo and pozole are absolutely remarkable!
I ordered the bistec a la mexicana, but the meat was overcooked and not fresh.
Do yourself a favor and try the El Patron Breakfast. You can choose between Carne Asada or Chicken breast, and it's served with eggs, refried beans, and potatoes. The potatoes are smashed but packed with flavor. The barbacoa is fantastic and not greasy at all. My personal favorite is the caldo de res—OH MY GOSH, it’s a massive serving and incredibly delicious! If you're in a hurry, grab the super burrito. It’s filled with eggs, chorizo, and ham, and it’s HUGE! It comes with a side of really tasty fries as well.
This is my go-to spot on weekends for Huevos Rancheros and delicious menudo! Food: 5/5
