What Mark C doesn't like about Crawlin' Crab:
So I have been to this place two separate times one to try the fried items and one to try a boiled bag and I would have to say I was disappointed both times the fried ones did not seem to be fresh they tasted like they were just purchased frozen and then fried. The boiling item I got the flavor was just on the outside when you peeled the shell it was gone unless you dipped your item into the sauce the seasonings they... View all feedback.
Well, let me start by saying we are from New Orleans. That being said, this place was not good at all. The place was packed when we got there and there was a good aroma coming from the kitchen; however I have not found a place in Fort Worth that knew how to boil seafood correctly, but I was willing to give them a try. We ordered the spicy boil and it was super bland, the seasoning was on the shells, so once you peeled the food, there went the seasoning. The boiled seafood was brought to us in a plastic bag and for reasons I cannot fathom there was grease pooled at the bottom of the bag... I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp basket. Again, the food was bland and the fried foods were over battered and fried hard. If you are from the Gulf Coast, this is not the place for you and I am sorry they are misrepresenting Louisiana this way.

The boiling item I got the flavor was just on the outside when you peeled the shell it was gone unless you dipped your item into the sauce the seasonings they used to boil the items in at first did not seem to adhere to the food very well if any at all. So much money to pay for just a regular boiled seafood you can do at home and just buy sausage dip it in is not my idea of a good way to spend my money and to me and my personal opinion is just not worth it.

I was a little hesitant to choose this place because of others reviews but Im glad I did. Seafood was very good and the boil was excellent too! We chose our own bag with 1#Dungeness 1#clams 1#shrimp #crawfish potatoes and corn. atmosphere, a bit crowded on a Sunday night but we were seated right away, the service was excellent, and the food came quickly!
Imma start off by saying that we live Arizona(15 hours away), came out to scout out places to eat, live and open up a business. This was on our bucket list of our top 10 places to go, when I say this should?ve been number one on our list I?m not lyin one bit! Dasah and all the staff were honestly the best service we?ve had yet, food was beyond amazing, drinks were the perfect balance of flavor and strength! Definitely gonna be our regular date night place when we move out here in December!
