(01/02/2022) Wow, this place is absolutely worth it! Two plates cost $27, which is about $13 per person. The portions are HUGE, and there's so much rice that we couldn’t finish it all. Each plate comes with 8-9 shrimp, rice, and salad, along with a choice of two dressings (ginger or poppyseed). The rice is seasoned with herbs and salt, and it’s drizzled with the sauce the shrimp are marinated in. My partner and I's favorite was definitely the classic coconut shrimp, served with a delicious sweet chili sauce on the side. It’s AMAZING—what a hidden gem we found while visiting Fort Worth!.
What Helga Jacobi doesn't like about Coco Shrimp:
Dr Sarah my Heart PA told me about Coco Shrimp near her office. At 4:15 pm I could not find a parking place there, so blew it off. Then when in Keller the next day saw coco Shrimp there stopped to try. I had the Coco Shrimp which is grilled then put in sauce with coconut flakes. I found it very good and will return again. Kinda reminded me of wings to go but with Shrimp. Happy Trails to you Chris Sharon Wilson View all feedback.
The hype is real and the flavor is monumental like the high waves shown in the decor throughout this hut. Bring an appetite. You will want to order the sampler ? where you can try three flavors of shrimp on top of buttered rice with a side salad. Makesure you get the grilled pineapple as well. Keep your eye on the soda machine. Some fella named Roy makes some really goodbeverages and their tea is tasty. Pictured are garlic butter, coconut shrimp (must have), and spicy (pretty spicy if you can 'thandle spice). Friendly staff and cool branding throughout. *Plan seating accordingly. The inside can fill up quickly, like itdid on a random Thursday for me recently. I 'm grateful for this couple wanting to bring the flavors/essence of Hawaii to FortWorth. Some of the tastiest shrimp you will eat ????
First time and loved it. Being from Hawaii, I know how big shrimp trucks are. This place delivered great shrimp flavors and reminded me of home. They also have cups that when you bring back, you get the drinks for .99 cents! They also were SO HELPFULtowards my gluten and dairy allergies. They made everything without butter and not breaded so I could still enjoy the place. Iwill come again.
The staff here were incredibly friendly! They were nice and very helpful. I ordered avocado toast, and the service was quick with excellent customer care. It was our first time trying this place, and we all loved the generous portion sizes. It’s definitely a great choice for dinner! Thank you for the delicious shrimp; we will definitely come back!
You won't regret it! The shrimp selection is excellent. We tried the sampler plate, and everything was fresh and delicious!
The shrimp options include garlic butter, coconut shrimp (a must-have), and a spicy variety (definitely on the hot side, so be cautious if you’re sensitive to spice). The staff is friendly, and the branding throughout adds a cool vibe. Be prepared to find the place bustling; it can fill up quickly, as I discovered on a random Thursday. I’m grateful for this couple who is dedicated to bringing the essence of Hawaii to life here. You'll be enjoying some of the tastiest shrimp you've ever had!
