Chicken Express - Fort Worth

This restaurant location on North Beach, near North Tarrant Pkwy has really gone down hill. The prices have increased, but the food and service are not good anymore. I have gone to this location since it opened, but over the last year the food is not as fresh and you get less of it for a higher price. Yesterday, I ordered a chicken tender combo and I was so disappointed. I received a few little hard dried pieces and a half filled order of mashed potatoes. Next time I will check my box before leaving so I can ask for a refund if this happens again...before I drive home!!

I 'm really disappointed at this location. I went a few weeks ago about 7pm. When I got home I called back as my chicken had clearly been sitting out for awhile and definitely not fresh. I spoke with Issac who apologized and said to come back and they 'll replace my meal. I told him it wouldn 't be that same day as I didn 't live close to that location. The replacement meal was tonight. (May13th I asked can you please make sure it 's fresh. The young black guy with the headset went to tell the other young white guy with the headset who was already fixing my box and clearly annoyed that I asked for fresh chicken. The young white guy then comes over and says and I quote I 'm not trying to be mean but it 's too late to get fresh chicken so I 'm just going to tell you it 's not fresh. (Keep in mind I 'm looking at the cook that just dumped fresh chicken up top so the fryers were still on. The time was 9:40PM. (My Order was 4 tenders If you want chicken that 's been sitting, room temperature that 's hard and rubbery, this is the ideal spot. You 'll never have freshness. In looking at the previous reviews it appears this is their MO to serve old food that 's been sitting. Maybe the board of health needs to be notified, it may be time for an inspection. Lucky for me, I have a direct connect in which I 'm definitely going to show them the previous reviews as well. (Yeah, I printed them out. It 's a wrap for me. I 'm done with Chicken Express, at-least the location on Beach Street between Heritage Trace Tarrant Parkway (across from Walmart. They clearly don 't take pride in the quality or temperature of their food, too bad you can 't NOT give a rating. It 's ZERO stars for me! To the employees, be careful how you treat people. You never know their connections, mines just happens to be the Board of Health! Do better.

Food is good but this last time they gave us the old pieces that were hard to chew on like some darn beef jerky. Disappointed but then again runs off high school kids some responsible and caring about their job and some not so much. Overpriced for the food sincerely -an avid eater

Around 5:30pm on Friday the 12th of November, 2021 I craved some gizzards and livers , so, of course, I went to my neighborhood Chicken Express. Isak , the drive thru attendant was very pleasant even when confronted with a LONG line of cars. He asked me to pull up and wait because they don 't pre-make them, so, give them 15 minutes to prepare them As promised Isak delivered my meal making this Veteran who received a 10% discount very happy!!! Plus, when it comes to gizzards and livers , Chicken Express can 't be beat!!! Papa Mike Fort Worth Rumble or Youtube Concierge at the Historic Hilton Fort Worth for over 16 years!!!

Like many other reviews, I wish 0 stars was an option. Every single time I've ordered from here, they not only got my order wrong (I didn't receive whole items) but the chicken wasn't even warm. DO NOT GO HERE. IT IS A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY.
