Consistently great service but I feel the food is not always top notch and is a bit over priced. The menu is also limited. But I love the location and will be back, especially for special occasions. View all feedback.
Our appetizer, featuring burnt ends of beef with gnocchi and Bolognese sauce topped with whipped ricotta, was bursting with flavor. However, the highlight was definitely the dessert: pistachio profiteroles. They were absolutely fabulous! Each bite revealed a delightful mix of flavors.
It was louder than I expected but not too loud to converse. Crackers/bread was not offered with our chicken Ceasar Salad. The **** mary was quite good.
The noise and busyness of the lunch time made it a bit less enjoyable for the price. Our server was somewhat slow in bringing our check, because she was so, busy, I think. My gues said her cauliflower wasn’t cooked as thoroughly as expected, but I enjoyed my hummus appetizer. Overall the experience was ok and won’t stop me from returning.
We always enjoy our visits to Cafe Modern and this was no exception. The food was great, there were lots of options on the menu, and the service was great. We had a table by the window and enjoyed the view. It was a lovely, leisurely lunch. Go! Enjoy it!
