Enjoyed the breakfast items received. Pancakes were fluffy, big, and delicious, not dry or overcooked. Reasonable price. Open by 7am during the week which is good for early risers. Decent selection of choices to satisfy most appetites. Stuffed French toast is yum! View all feedback.
What Bruce Blanchard doesn't like about Beacon Café On Beach:
Service was good and the French Toast had really good flavor. My issue was with how thick the French Toast was, I was expecting a nice Custard consistency in the middle and the center ended up being dry. With that said I do plan on going back with my wife to try the homemade biscuits and gravy. Would have definitely given more stars if the French Toast would have been executed better. I would have given this place a full 5 stars, but just one, slight small issue. Starting off, the atmosphere was amazing, gave off a west/east coast vibe of being there in a diner. The food was from scratch that made it even better and authentic, the pic i have is from the creme de la crepe which was amazing, light and filling. Their options are amazing as well! Now for the slight problem; i got a apple juice that cost 6.75 for no refill. I didnt know that the fountain drinks in general cost that much like a bar drink of a small glass of whiskey, lol. Overall, the place was amazing and a great find, but need to go easy on the drinks a few dollars.
This is another branch of bigger Beacon cafe near Hicks airport. We wanted to visit the main oke. But wasn?t aware of 2 locations and ended up here. This one didn?t disappoint. Very colourful inside. We were made aware of breakfast buffet by our server. We went to take a look, and decided to order from menu as I wanted to stay vegetarian that day. Buffet had bacon, scrambled eggs, gravy, biscuits, cut fruit, grits (i might be missing a thing or two). Pancakes are also included in the buffet but would be made if you order them. Also buffet, included a free beverage. We ordered eggs florentine and coffee. Eggs florentine was severed with fresh cut fruit and potatoes ? it was decent. Coffee was not hot, so when i told our server she refilled it with hot coffee. Ample of parking in the area, and on Saturday morning around 10 am it wasn?t hugely crowded? we got table right away.

We went on a Sunday for breakfast and they weren't too busy. Our food took a while to come out, then we had to ask for silverware, and our waitress never came back for refills or anything. The food was good but the dining experience was lacking. Went for the 2nd time on 4.16.22 and we had a much better experience. The blueberry pancakes were so good!
I came in to this beacon around 8:40AM and when we received our food about 10 minutes after that, it was over cooked, the potatoes were hard and way to crunchy, the pancakes wouldn't even cut, they had a rubber like texture. Horrible, I used to love coming here, but now? The employees don't make the atmosphere a great experience, the mood isn't very talkative, aside from the few times of our server coming to ask how the food was. The old owner used to always come over to the tables and ask how it was, and would always talk and make everyone's day.
