I would rate this as some of the best bbq ive had. I love the options of the different regional bbq sauces. The house salad even had made to order croutons and the side options are different than just your typical potato salad and beans that every other place offers. We also love the new orleans style food they have on the other side of the restaurant. Definitely one of my favorite spots already and the staff is very... View all feedback.
The food here is fantastic! Be sure to try the burnt end queso, but it's best to go when Al is on shift, as he might be the one serving it. Speaking of Al, you may find yourself returning just to enjoy his great personality at the bar!
This restaurant is truly wonderful! The staff is friendly and well-informed, and the food is exceptional. The menu primarily features BBQ, and the portion sizes are impressive. I believe the prices are fair considering the quality and quantity of food offered. Kudos to the management team, especially the kitchen staff; I can only assume the dish crew works hard too. The atmosphere is enjoyable, and everything seems to be well organized.
After settling in at the nearby Bourbon Street Oyster Bar to get some writing done, the staff encouraged me to sample the BBQ offerings as well. I'm really glad I took their advice. I kicked off lunch with an Irish Whiskey Flight and then enjoyed a combo plate featuring turkey and pulled pork. The meats were excellent, and the sauce was outstanding. I couldn't resist trying some of the brisket and sausage from my wife's plate. The brisket was a bit fatty, but the sausage had great flavor. We missed trying some appetizers, so I'm definitely planning a return visit. Overall, it was a pleasant atmosphere, fantastic food, and a great experience.
The service, the food, the prices and the overall atmosphere was just excellent. Their brisket was almost buttery and the chicken dip is addictive. Found this place on a random Saturday drive, and was happy to see that they even had a kids high chair for bar tables. Will definitely be coming back soon.
