Perched atop the Nevis Range and reached by gondola or rail car (cycles welcomed), this mountain-top café-restaurant pair serves simple, well-executed comfort food — excellent coffee, hot chocolate, macaroni-and-cheese, venison burgers and hearty stews — with oven-cut chips and sweet bakes. Young, attentive staff and a cozy interior complement a viewing deck with sweeping Highland vistas; prices feel fair for the setting. Dress warmly; weather can obscure the panorama but never the charm.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere, along with the excellent coffee, oven-cut chips, and pleasant interior. This is a fantastic place to appreciate the stunning natural beauty around you. All the food and drinks we tried were delicious and definitely worth it. It’s a must-visit when you’re in the highlands. Although the cable car price is on the higher side, we can’t give anything less than 5 stars because we had such a great time!
What an amazing place! We rode the gondolas up to the restaurant for lunch and to soak in the views. It was a cloudy day, but we managed to catch a glimpse of Fort William before the clouds rolled in. The food and service were top-notch, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We tried a variety of dishes; the macaroni and cheese was fantastic, and I’ve heard great things about the venison burgers as well. The prices were reasonable for the location; if you can afford the gondola ride, the food is quite affordable! Enjoy your visit, and remember to dress warmly!
I visited this restaurant for lunch after taking a gondola ride up the mountain. The views of the Nevis Range were stunning. They offered a great selection of food and drinks.
Loads of trails to choose from. There is a rail car to take you to the top. You could carry cycles on it. Got two lovely restaurants that serves coffee and food.
Staff always welcoming and friendly. Views normally spectacular although today freezing fog was the order of the day so a mountain hot chocolate was the order of the day
