This is a small restaurant located about four blocks from a friend's house where I am currently visiting, a neighborhood restaurant. From the outside you'd never guess what culinary delights await you inside of this nondescript building. The food is fresh, it is prepared beautifully, and the flavors have been crafted by a genius. Oh, so delicious and delightful. The Deviled Eggs are a must try. They are so creamy and dreamy. Everything that we ate was perfection. The service was very good. Our questions were thoroughly answered, we were provided with wonderful recommendations. It was a delightful experience and again, the food is delicious the flavors are creative, inciting, and deeply satisfying. Enjoy.
Fort Wayne is small enough that fine-dining spots have little competition to keep them on their toes. Chance Bar has no business being as exquisite as it is. Chef?s special of Ukrainian Borscht blew my hair back in ways I was not expecting. I?ve been only once, but I?m convinced this may be the sharpest menu in the city. 20/10
(02/26/2022) Update: I've now been to chance bar a total of 4 times in the last 6 months. Every time is just as delicious as the last. The food is always on point. The service is excellent. The environment is both elagent and in inviting. The passion that Chef Corey has for his restaurant can be tasted on each and every plate that he sends out of the kitchen. The oysters tonight were very fresh and exciting on the palate. The caesar salad was HUGE and the dressing was delightful. I loved the thinly sliced little potato chips that were used as a substitute for traditional bread croutons! The duck curry was very tender and cooked to perfection. It's broth had an incredible depth of oomami that made each bite as exciting as the last. The burger and onion rings never disappoint. They're as consistent as the first time I fell in love with them. If you still haven't tried out this amazing restaurant, I strongly encourage you to give them a CHANCE! Chance Bar was an awesome experience. I would say this restaurant best described as a diamond in the rough. Although it's location is not directly downtown, it's good and service rivals that of any restaurant located in the heart of the city. The beer bread appetizer with whipped honey butter got better with every bite. The soft pillowy center combined with the crunchy crust made for a fabulous starter. The entrés were HUGE! The double bacon cheeseburger featured as the chefs special came highly recommended by our waitress. I will say it was arguably one of the best burgers I've had in Fort Wayne. The quality and freshness of the Wood Farms ground beef made for a juicy and delicious burger. The entourage of sweet pickles, burger sauce, red onion, shredded lettuce, bacon, and cheese was a winning combination that made for an amazing bite. The korean bbq fried chicken sandwich can't be outdone. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy. The korean bbq was bursting with bold flavors and was accompanied by a fresh slaw. The onion rin
Absolutely fantastic. The food, service, atmosphere top notch across the board. My wife and I even got adventurous and ordered things we normally wouldn't. My personal favorite was the Green Onion Special. Amazing. Happened to show up on wine Wednesday as well. We were quite pleased with our visit and will definitely be returning.
Great farm to table experience. Unexpected and creative flavor combinations, new takes on classics. Delicious. Of all we tried, only one side fell flat, the twice fried potatoes. Everything else was an adventure. Loved it. On the pricey side but worth it. Service was impeccable, food timed well. Busy place, make a reservation.
