Update: You're only as good as your last experience. Went in and was seated by host on 09/07/22 at approximately 8:00 p.m. and sat at the table for the longest time and was never greeted or gotten drinks or anything in the slightest, so we left. Therewere other guest dining so not sure what the problem was. It's not like we snuck in unbnounced or anything. Step it up BobEvans. You're better than this.
Went here after my son got out of the hospital. The food was great. Our waitress was lovely. But when it came time to pay for our food, I went up to the counter and waited for someone to help us so I could pay. In the 15 minutes that I stood at thecounter, some scrawny kid came up the counter 3 times to answer the phone and at no point even looked at us or acknowledged thatwe were standing there. People were looking at us from the kitchen, so they knew we were there. After another 5 minutes, I say Hello? Can we get some help? Half the kitchen staff craned their necks around to stare at us and then just went about theirbusiness. So we left. All in all, it was one of the best free meals I 've ever eaten.
I have had Cathy as a server a lot lately, she is awesome, always attentive, and usually knows what I want before I order it. One of the best servers I have ever had anywhere! I have had some issues over the years with BE but so far not a singleissue with Cathy! I want to make sure her Manager knows how good she is!
Not enough servers. Told it was a twenty minute wait but waited for forty minutes. We them got seated after watching others com in after us. We them proceeded to wait an additional 20 minutes before we was able to order. We will not be coming back and theserver gets no tip. Waited for food which took an half hour. Food was cold. And my eggs and bacon was not cooked all the way.I've we was done, our waitress didn't come by to check on us or give us our bill. We them proceeded to walk up to the counter.My husband told me to go outside and he waited up there. Our waitress was hiding in the back. All she she was I'm sorry when anattitude of she didn't care. My husband paid, walked out and we talked we won't be back. They didn't care about our is gettingthere or that the good was cold or that our food was not properly cooked.
The Mushroom and Onion Chopped Steak was delicious, especially when paired with the mashed potatoes. The potato cup soup was also perfectly prepared. And, to top it off, the Reeses pie was incredibly tasty.
