Julie's Southern Joy

Delicious South Food!! I have her chicken tetrazzini, roasted chicken and baked chicken together with their potatoes, gravy and Mac and cheese. The cookie is so soft and melts in the mouth. I would go there every day of the week if I could. It's $10 for a dish of food without drinking, but it's worth it.

Wonderful food, tastes fresh and the portions are large. I had the chicken and it was so moist and the bread was crispy and full of taste. The Mac and the cheese tasted authentic and cooked for perfection. The fried okra, was so well fried that it was excessively fat, but still had an amazing crunchy, great taste. Not to mention the most wonderful and fluffy cookies I've tasted for a long time, it was so good that I have torn off a few pieces to share with the people I shared lunch with. This mall restaurant is wonderful, I would like to see it in a fully blown restaurant. The service was also amazing! The young man who helped me was friendly and efficient.

My six years old always wants to eat at Julie. She loves the Saturday special of homemade chickens, potatoes and gravy, Mac cheese and fresh cookies. We love the house cooked food and the staff are always beautiful and courteous. It's nice that this is an option in the half empty mall. I hope there's enough traffic to keep Julie open.
