Trying to support more non-chain restaurants when I stumbled upon this cute cafe. Ordered a London fog (to DIE for). Very dissatisfied with treatment of staff however. I could hear the manger degrading other staff all the way at the front of the house. Whole wheat and honey has always been a great place in Fort St John to find vegetarian / vegan options! Almost every food item they have on the menu can be made veggie, and drinks can be made with vegetable milk! The atmosphere is very warm and friendly, and there are many amazing handmade goods/art available for use and shopping.
Stumbled upon this little gem of a cafe, and let's just say we will definitely be returning. My son got a yummy hot chocolate and a grilled cheese sandwich. He said it is one of the best grilled cheese he'd had in a long time!!
Friendly, great service and super tasty food. I will return again.
Stopped in for breakfast on a Thursday morning before a flight out of Fort St John. The food was delicious and came out of the kitchen hot and fresh. The menu was great with a little something for everyone and the staff were friendly and helpful. Get the jam if you order toast, it is homemade and delicious
