Pig-n-pepper - Fort Smith

My family and I visited this restaurant after a gymnastics event in the continuing smith convention center. before we leave the venue, we asked a local to have a good grill place. without hesitation, he said pig and pepper. we were not disappointed. the pieces were generous and the prices were appropriate. my daughter and I ordered the chicken sandwich that came with a side of homemade fries. my wife ordered ripening and waving while my son ripening ordered and swath pulled. the whole meat was tender and tasty. our server was attentive and polite. the place was clean. there was even a water basin in the area where the customers could wash grill sauce from their hands. If we are back in the continuing smith area, we will definitely consider returning to this facility.

Wonderful. Easy, casual atmosphere and such attentive staff. I feel horrible that I can’t remember our servers name, but she was fantastic with my wife’s allergies, and took the time to find out any additional info from the kitchen to help find a meal that wouldn’t trigger her allergies, and was GREAT about it. Some places make it obvious that it’s putting them out to take the extra time, and having worked in that position, I get it... but there was no hint that it put her out at all. Then the food came, and both my wife and I were delighted (we both went with the pork tenderloin). I’m certainly going back next time I’m in town!

Love it. They have a great lunch food bar. 2 meats and all you can eat sides. The sides are your normal sides plus a few extras like beans and cornbread which was fantastic. We have also ordered carry out and they were great. The service is a little underwhelming but makes for a comfortable atmosphere. I actually prefer when the servers don't bombard you during your meal. I have only eaten at Pig n Pepper a couple of times but I will continue to go back. It might become my new lunch place. It's that good of food and that good of a price.

We have been here a few times now and have to say the food is really good for the most part. The second time we went for the ribs and they were sold out and it was barely noon on a Wednesday. The pulled chicken was dry but it did have a great flavor. Havent tried their pies yet but want to see how well they are prepared. Will be back.

Came for lunch and tried the pick 2 menu where you go to the buffet and get both sides and meats. The beats had a Smokey flavor but not much flavor after that. The bbq sauce was more like a sweet salsa and the sides weren’t all that unique. More like a salsa. The wait staff was nice, but the overall restaurant left us wanting more.
