Boondocks - Fort Smith

I ordered the Mediterranean chicken salad and fried pickles. The salad was VERY fresh, and delicious. Even the cherry tomatoes were delicious (I?m very picky about tomatoes and often don?t eat them because of being picky. The fried pickles are chips, with light, seasoned breading. Yummy!

I just dined at this restaurant, and I have to say the food was absolutely fantastic. My waitress, Renee, provided exceptional service; she really rolled out the red carpet for us. Since it was our first time there, we needed a bit of time to navigate the menu, and Renee was incredibly patient with us. She answered all our questions without hesitation, providing detailed information about the portions and spice levels of different dishes, including the gumbo. In a world where people are often quick to voice complaints, I wanted to take a moment to share this positive experience. Thank you, Renee – it was a real pleasure!

Everything I tried was absolutely delicious. The hushpuppies had a lovely kick to them, and the fried apples were delightfully sweet. I drizzled honey on the sweet potato, and it was fantastic. The chicken was served hot and juicy. The only downside was that the restaurant was understaffed, which caused a long wait for the food.

During our initial visit to Boondocks a few months back, we were impressed by the fantastic food and generous portion sizes. However, our recent experience was disappointing. The food was merely average, and the portions were smaller and less flavorful. It seems to have lost its charm.

The Cajun Corn was delicious. Stevie is very friendly server, checked on us several times, everything was great. Can't wait to come back.
