Nahanni Inn - Fort Simpson
Nahanni Inn
Description
The restaurant received mixed reviews, with some patrons praising the good food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere, while others complained about rude staff members and outdated decor. The menu offerings such as bison burgers, salmon, and omelette sandwiches were generally well-received. The service was described as attentive and professional by some, while others felt that the wait staff was overwhelmed. Overall, the Nahanni Inn seems to be a local favorite for breakfast and a decent option for dinner in an off-the-beaten-path location.

The only reason we stayed here is because it is the only place in Ft Simpson that is pet friendly, and I tried calling everyone else first.
This review is for the restaurant and the hotel Ask what's freshwe had steak and friesTender and served hotBartender knows local scene.
Pretty quiet on a Friday nightOrdered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and carrots.
Folks at this quint restaurant (where truckers were parked . . .good sign) looked after us in a first class manner and were engaging. Food was good and arrived hot and well prepared. Will stop by again on a return trip.
The dining room was empty when we arrived 6pm, and we were cautious because of other reviews, so we opted for a light supper here. I had a toasted Denver omelette sandwich with a surprisingly nice side salad (decent iceberg lettuce with layers of diced tomato, shredded carrot and cheese). My wife had a hearty soup with her sandwich. The food was decent and the service friendly and fast.
