Sushi Shop Kingsway Mall

One would think "food court food is always greasy" well not this place. The sushi is rolled to order, the components are fresh and the staff super helpful. Great work guys!

I must add to the existing rave reviews of this sushi shop. I am not a huge sushi fan, I mostly am an amateur preferring cooked stuff. I stumbled upon this sushi shop recently while at the food court in kingsway. Well....what a pleasant surprise. I thoroughly enjoyed my avacado Maki and discovered that my daughter loves the chicken teriyaki Maki. They have a giant menu full of photos and a legend to tell one which is vegetarian, which is cooked etc. most helpful for newbies like me. I returned for a second visit and found my experience to be as good as my first. I think they make everything fresh, I can't say for sure but I'm pretty sure. The second time I had the veggie bombs. I've brought a menu home so I can study it a bit and make informed choices next time I go because I'm going again...I find myself making trips to kingsway just for the sushi...it helps that I can get some banking done and find some sales at aritzia, sage, sears, etc.

I come here every chance I get! I love the salmon poke bowl! It is amazing! And the bubble tea, is just as good!

Located inside the Kingsway's food court, Sushi Shop is a healthy alternative. They have a large selection of choices and the nutrition information is available. I had the new "Poke - Volcano" bowl and it exceeded my food court expectations. It was very traditional and authentic. Everything on the menu is fresh and cooked to order. Despite it being busy, the place is worth the wait. For those looking for a faster stop, they have prepared sushi combos and salads available. Lastly, they also serve bubble tea!

If you like waiting along for time then you are good to go.I have been here a few times and they have been really good in the past but it seems there staff were a bit relaxed about serving timeOther than that the sushi is just ok.
