If you have read any of my Sawmill reviews I have not had great experiences. I finally did on this visit. We went on steak and lobster night and everything was cooked and seasoned well ......... except for the rice again just plain unseasoned white rice, why can't they have a nice rice pilaf, but will not hammer on this too long as I have in previous reviews. What harleyonlygirl doesn't like about Sawmill Prime Rib & Steak House:
Food was very expensive. The place was noisy and too cold. The service was good but slow. I think they want to sell more booze that way. Anyways, we had a beef dip, and it was awful, nearly made me gag, actually, it did, it was overcooked and was mush. and no flavor. I would not eat here again. Spent a thoroughly wonderful evening at the hands of our waiter, Donald. The Fort Sask “Mill” location is lucky to have this award worthy staff member slinging plates of beef for hungry, busy guests. If you haven’t been to this location lately, it’s bustling with busy staff ensuring perfection for your visit. ??
Always a pleasure. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, and my food is always cooked wonderfully. I love the prime rib however am trying something new on the menu each time I go. I've yet to have something I'd refuse to order again
1st time going, heard lots, and was not disappointed,Got to our table very quickly and the server (Donald) was getting us drink and making us feel like home within seconds.Hands down coming back for more and the environment was very classic and modern. Great food, great people, great manager, 5 stars!!!
This was my first time back to the Sawmill after many years. The food was delicious but the best part of the entire meal was our server, Donald. He is the best and so friendly and personable. 10 out of 10, hands down the GOAT. Definitely will be back to see him.
Came to the Sawmill in Fort Sask for dinner and was very impressed. The food was delicious and the service was the absolute best. Donald was so friendly and funny from the moment we sat down till we left. He is so awesome and absolutely the reasone we will be coming back.
