Humpty's Family Restaurants

This is a family run business and they treated us like gold. They work really well as a team and get your meal to you in good time, keep the coffee topped up and the plates cleared away later. Food was hot and good. We recommend this Humpty’s and will eat there again when we are back in this area.

I will start with a positive, the staff were friendly, service was good. However, our male waiter took my husband's order before my daughter and I, probably doesn't know that to be polite in Canada you take the women's order first. The menu pictures and prices are misleading. Menu shows bottomless coffee, but then below that was a price of 50 cents per extra cup. How is that bottomless? We did not order coffee, thank goodness! I ordered a Belgian waffle with strawberries, strawberries are in season in the summer but I got runny strawberry puree with a couple of mushy strawberries, they were not fresh. The waffle was thin and the whipped cream was also runny. A very pricey breakfast for all of us, but we left knowing we won't return to this branch of Humptys. The price of the food is not worth it, go elsewhere!

Things at this restaurant sure changed with the new management. The servers who had been there for years have disappeared. Attitude of manager is confrontational. My last meal was terrible. (Was that reheated pancakes not sure) not going back. Stay away.

Server did not understand me. Soup was not good. Bill was overcharged. Tuesdays offer 20% Emerald Discount. Did not know had to be member. Server gave me for membership. Told at check out still could not have discount because they did not receive authorization for membership. Will not eat at ANY Humpty's again

Glad to see coffee offered right away but when we got our bill was shocked to see that it was $3.00 per cup and it wasn’t that good. Food was pretty good but on a Saturday for four of us the bill came to $66.00. Too pricey for what we had.
