We ate supper at this quaint establishment. My husband had their fish and chips and was pleased with the thin crisp batter on his fish. Their coleslaw was excellent! Fresh, crisp and definitely homemade. We tried a side order of their mushy peas and found them very tasty, similar to peas in a pea soup. I ate the scallops and shrimp and again the homemade batter was light and crisp. I did not want fries so they offered me a variety of sides to choose from instead. The service was above average. Will definitely stop there again if we are in the area!

The food is good. But the prices are quite high For what you get. And they just seem really chintzy when you’re asking for substitutions by charging you full price. I think they charge seven dollars and something for what they call a bowl of clam chowder and it’s only cup size. There are just too many good restaurants in this town that give better prices and larger quantities.

My husband and I went her for supper last week. The service was great! I had been craving fish and chips and it did not disappoint. The fish was moist and flakey with a light crisp batter. The fries were hand cut and cooked just right. Lots of food for the price. We will definitely be back!

Came here on Sunday for a late lunch after hiking at Elk Island. It's a small place with not too many tables. We were able to get a table for our family. My son got the Grilled Cheese with fries. They looked great. My daughter had the burger and fries and she gobbled it up. My wife had the clam chowder and mussels. Both very good. I had the one piece haddock and chips and I added mushy pieces. Fish had the right crisp. Around the edges the fish was a little dry though. Mushy peas were great. I hadn't had that since I last visited UK a few years ago. I really liked the fries. They looked home made. Service was mostly good. Seated right away. Ordered quickly. Food came in good time. Only thing was they got busier at the end of our meal and it took awhile to flag down a waitress to get the bill. Overall really good and will be back.

Hot and tasty food. Great service and recommendations. Haddock was tender and tasty. 3 piece fish and chips for 2! Staff friendly and helpful.
