Really enjoyed our visit yesterday. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. Before you go to fast food consider Sumo. Much healthier and tastier food for about the same price. View all feedback.
What Porkchopranch doesn't like about Sumo Teriyaki Grill:
Tried it when it first open and it was so so at best. We tried after it had been open for a while and was more disappointed than before. The menu states one price and then you have the add ons which cost extra and the food is just so so nothing to brag about. View all feedback.

We had to wait for our food a really long time. It tasted good but for the price I would have been happier at the buffet
This was the 1st time I went to this restaurant I was very disappointed only one person was in the restaurant running everything. The restaurant looked very dirty it needed to be cleaned. I will never go back there.
Floors and tables were filthy, floors looked like they haven't been mopped in months. One man working taking orders cooking the orders and delivering the order. Restrooms were terribly filthy.Food was excellent, Guess you can't have it all.
7/22/21 @appx. 20:00 CDTThe Good, The Bad The Ugly (in reverse order)The Ugly: The parking lot was empty, except for myself 3 cars full of people, possibly loitering. The lot itself needed sweeping repainting. When first going towards the building, you 're looking at the side and a bit of the rear. The weathered brick wall could use a colorful mural. The doors on this side of the building are locked you have to walk around to the front to get in.3 stars out of 5The Bad: Upon entering, I was unimpressed by the minimalistic decor. Just on the other side of the counter (left), was the flattop grill. The counter itself was encrusted with a melange of previous order 's sauces, oils and a stray slice of carrot. Regrettably, I had not noticed that the melange continued onto the floor, causing my shoes to stick to the floor and continued after I stepped away. I noticed the floor was filthy enough that one could track the previous customer 's steps; especially to and from the restroom hallway entrance that is draped with a cloth. Having a hanging cloth swipe across me, after it had swiped over an untold number of other customers was unappealing. Therefore, I cannot report on the status of the restrooms. I searched thoroughly for a health score but did not find one. After ordering the teriyaki chicken a beverage to-go, I watched the employee begin to prepare my order. He first scraped the bit of carrot off the counter with a spatula, discarded it continued to use the same spatula and another to briefly scrape the grill. He then began throwing the ingredients onto the hot grill and cooked the order with the same 2 spatulas.1 star out of 5The Good: Upon returning home, I grabbed the soy sauce from the fridge. I then added the 2 small containers of yum-yum sauce and tasted. It was GREAT! For the first time in my life, I did not need the soy sauce. The flavor from the grill and their homemade sauce must have been what made the dinner soooo flavorful.5 stars out of 5
