Semi upscale restaurant in heart of redevelopment area near/under bridge with a nice bistro vibe and bar height table options. Food was moderately good, as expected for garden variety faire. Perfect business casual spot with decent bar. View all feedback.
What Arnold Kerluke doesn't like about Twisted Vine Bistro:
Love the atmosphere but it took an hour before we received our salads. Chopped salad had no taste and had to ask for the blue cheese crumbles. Chicken was supposed to be stuffed with mushrooms and there wasn't a mushroom to be seen and not stuffed at all. We were very happy with this place. The atmosphere is great and quiet. Service was very good and the food was delicious. They have a very good wine selection and we loved their chessboard. Definitely an amazing experience and I recommend this place
Fabulous dinner! Alexis was a very attentive server and even adjusted the bill when one item wasn?t to my taste. My husband had the short ribs and I had the delicious calamari appetizer (like a calamari version of Bang-Bang Shrimp). We went early and by the time we left at 8:00 every table was full. It?s on the list for next time! In downtown Ft Myers about 10 minutes off of I75. Don?t miss it!
I'm not sure how this place is still open... You must leave family and friends good reviews!!! I was told by a friend to control from this place bc by the employees and owners, they had a problem with the owner, but the food looked really good, so we decided to give it anyway. I regret this 100%. Not only the food was less than moderate, it was overpriced for the quality and time spent to get us. My Bfs food had to be reheated. I understand and everyone who worked in the food industry can deteriorate before he gets better at night. But there was absolutely no excuse for us being treated as we were treated by the owner. We wanted to talk to her, but she really couldn't be disturbed. As if she had better things to do than make sure her guest was happy. I will not come back, and I will definitely not recommend it to anyone. Well, there are so many other good restorers here! Word of advice, listen to your friends;
Being generous at one star. We mostly had good experiences but the last 2 visits were disappointing. Food arrived way to late and lukewarm. Saw it sitting in the kitchen window under the heat lamps. Didn?t stay. Brunch today wasn?t any better. Service was good; busy so we were patient (45 minutes) until people that arrived after us received their food. Server said tickets got mixed up. Again being patient waited a bit; no trip to the kitchen by the server to check on our food. Nothing! Left and won?t go back again. Too bad really liked it there. Needs some serious management help. I used to work in kitchens and realize it?s not easy, but it should run smoothly. Staff needs to care about the guest experience. Maybe the owner should work alongside the staff in and out of the kitchen to fix what needs fixing.
Turned, sat at the bar, (dirty) bartender completely ignored us for a good 10 min , not 1 guest at the bar finally, ... what u want to drink .. ummm we can get menus .. and start water while we saw a wine list, so read us water to get decided to clean some gls. for cpl minutes.
