I picked up the food. It was hot ready, but the person who picked up the food was a few cents short so the person who checked it took the change from the drinking glass. That would never happen in most places. I usually do not order white rice because not everyone knows how to cook it, it usually ends tasteless. The white rice was delicious my order from now on. All lunch was delicious. We have often ordered from Tropical Mambo, many things have never been disappointed. The food, the staff of the service...all A-1!!!
Go there every week and get the fried pork chips. the owner/cook is awsome, love the food. Try a lot of places similar in the cap and this place, the food and taste is the best. Just found out that they do delivery, I will also call for delivery. Put your hands down. The prices are large, I usually have remnants cause the amount of food you get.
Really delicious food, best Cuban I tried. Just the reason I don't have five stars, the system is a little strange and the restaurant is not very well organized. Nevertheless, the staff are friendly and proud of their food.
This place is right behind my job and I often order here. The food is always delicious and hot. Very reasonable and also, and the staff is great. Your English is too good, but hey, who cares because the food is delicious!
A random find and what a treasure!! The food is authentic and the best Cuban food I have ever had!! We had the lunch specials which included our choice of the lot. I chose the yellow rice and red beans with a mix of the beef stew (as the cashier called it) and roasted pork. He had the black beans n rice with the beef. As well as a side of yucca. We also got a beef empanada! And side of Mofongo that was served with the roasted pork. Needless to say we walked out with togo boxes. The serving we large. The service was excellent as well. The ladies behind the counter were so sweet and helpful. They we fast, clean and polite. Sucha great experience. We joked that this place was worth the hour drive down just to eat here! But honestly I would totally do it! Haha
