I've been shaking sushi for over a year. The food is always excellent and the lunch specialities are a bargain! We went in monday night at 9:33 under the understanding they closed at 10:00pm. When we walked in we asked politely if we could sit and the hostess was very dismissive, she went away and we just heard her say from afar you go talk to them to another person instead of being forward and telling us no . The female owner is so kind and so sweet. Thought I placed an order over the phone but called the wrong place. Came with a starving two year old and she got my order to me quickly and brought it to my car to make it easier on me. Food was great, staff is even better.
This restaurant was way better than I ever could have expected. We decided to stop in there for a quick snack. Turns out it was happy hour and they had $4 appetizers. All of my snack dreams came true. Very clean restrooms. Very authentic food.
My husband picked up takeout from here and it was great! I had the lava drops and fried dumplings; both were delicious. He had beef fried rice. We will definitely return!
Best sushi, teraki and service by Jocelyn. My wife , Marci and I go often and it never disappoints. We love it all in our Gateway neighborhood. And Jocelyn is amazing, ask for her and get the absolute best service ever. And we like the classic rock they play … Yeah, this is our place.
Such a kind gentleman helped me to my car with my food. I was also very frazzled after a long day at work and not completely focused and he was very patient with me even though I was being very absent minded. I appreciated it a lot and made my day. The food was amazing. Highly recommend their soup and sushi !
