Gatorbites Tail And Ale - Fort Myers

Attention all tourists: Definitely come to this place to try some exotic Floridian gator meat! Most places just serve the gator bites, which is just small, fried pieces of gator tail. But this place has other things like a gator Philly roll, gator quesadilla, gator nachos, gator burger. Of course, they have other things like chicken, beef, fish. The gator Philly was delicious The meat itself is a tad chewy because it is an alligator. Very flavorful though. The gator burger you can?t really taste the alligator, but again it was very well seasoned and delicious. Very large portions. Our entrees all came with curly fries and house dipping sauce which had a bit of a kick to it, and it paired perfectly with our seasoned curly fries. The mahi sandwich was a little too fishy, but it was a good slab of fish. Our server was very helpful and friendly, the place was clean, and they did distance the seated parties for social distancing, which was good. Overall, a great experience, would recommend. A very american diner that still kept its own style. Locals come here every day. The food is fat and very tasty. You'll love this place both as local and as tourist. Service and staff is very nice and friendly.

If you are looking for a restaurant that serves the best gator bites, you have to come here! My fiance and I wanted to try something new so we came here. The gator nachos were so good we ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture of it. Its a must have! My fiance had the gator quesadillas and as you can see in the picture, it was fire! Lmao! Our waitress and the staff were very friendly and service was great.
