What DavidB doesn't like about Connors Steak Seafood -fort Myers:
Just an average steak dinner at expensive prices. I made reservations for my wife’s birthday, the plates were not cleared when courses were served. I ordered a medium steak and was served with a well done. Returned it to the kitchen and got a medium well. Still not a medium. If you want a premier steak house, this is not it. We're here for lunch for the first time. My husband and I love Calamari, we had it everywhere and that was up there in the top 2. It was cooked for perfection! The salad was really good and served in a chilled bowl that is beautiful. I was a little disappointed at the taste of salmon, couscous dishes and the broccoli was not cooked enough for me, but my husband enjoyed his fish tacos. The atmosphere was nice and clean, but we were opened by a door a lot and it was hot. The service was a little slow and we got no bread until our appetizer was brought out, but the waitress slipped and fell so we understood why it was slow. Don't look at the ceiling. There are parts with one inch dust and one came down and almost fell into my food. Then I lost my appetite. The manager was next to us and a lady complained about a dessert dish that was a bit annoying. We'll try to eat again, but hopefully we have a better experience next time.
Delicious upper shelf Margaritas, Calamari was usual, frozen, but hand shattered, cowboy old steak man said, was top notch I had spicy cold water lobster pearl cousin that was fabulous! Very recommended! Christian was a very attentive waiter very knowledgeable!
The food is excellent with imaginative decisions. A wide range of prices, so you can spend what you want. Great decor. The servers are so friendly and on everything, and even thought it is a big restaurant, the waiting time for food is minimal. The tables and boots are spaced so it is not too loud.
My wife and I celebrated our 40 today. Birthday at Connors. We were never there and I always wanted to try their King Crab legs. About a pound of wonder. We were great with a beautiful map that wished us the best and thanked us for this opportunity for the selection. The service was great and very welcoming. Cyndi and I started with the Lobster Dip and homemade chips. Great. I had a cup of Prime Rib Chili, also very good. Then came what we had waited for, King Crab. Man, what a feast. tender, sweet and very, very tasty. And to decorate it from a piece of Strawberry shortcake with fresh homemade ice cream. Man, what a dinner. Thank you to all at Connors Steak Seafood for a wonderful experience. We'll be back. Now, a few pictures
The wife and I went to Conner's Steak Seafood last night for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. She had the filet and I had the NY Strip. Let me just say, they did not disappoint! Both steaks were delicious. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. For dessert, we had the strawberry shortcake. Don?t skip this dessert. They should do a Peach Melba one with their ice cream when peach season hits. I saw the service bartender, Tiffany, making an Old Fashioned which looked absolutely delicious, so I had to try one. It was absolute perfection and, quite possibly, the best I?ve ever had. Highly recommend this place. ??????????
