$42 for a dozen oysters I think is a bit much. I also got the calamari it was different but good it had corn bacon and jalapeno yea I know it doesn't sound very clear but it was good. Got the donuts for appetizer terrible just plain terrible. I also got claam pasta I add shrimp 6 shrimp for $10 more. The waitress on on point wish I rembered her name.
What ไฉววงศ์ สมคำนึง doesn't like about Coldwater Oyster Market:
Salmon was EXCELLENT!! BUT very few potatoes and vegetables, would have enjoyed a bit more. My husband had the Bank's scallops and said they were wonderful. Chair was hard to sit on. Waiter, Hunter, was pleasant. Sorry our gift card wouldn't work but we straightened that out at our bank. The card was still valid until 2023. As snowbirds we were on our way out. Next winter we will see you again. View all feedback.

The food was exceptionally wonderful. We found the restaurant via Google search for oyster bar near me as we were in town for a conference. It had a good variety of seafood on the menu, so we said why not. The restaurant was very clean and had a fun vibe. We were quickly greeted and seated. Addison, our waitress, served us perfectly with a smile and told us all about the menu and oyster selections. Her knowledge of the menu was impeccable and gave great suggestions as to what type of oysters from the list would be best for our palates. It was a varied and expansive selection to choose from. She helped make it a perfect experience. So, we had a bit of everything starting with the seafood chowder, calamari, an awesome selection of raw oysters, beet salads and grilled oysters for appetizers. All of the above were amazing! Every bite was something new. Especially the grilled oysters. The creamed gouda and spinach sauce with truffled bread crumb topping was heavenly. They are some of the best that I have ever had, and I eat oysters all around the US. The slight nuances in preparation and taste made this my new favorite Fort Myers restaurant. We then went to the entrees where we had fish and chips, fried shrimp, crab cakes and a steak sandwich. Once again, perfection. The fish was light, flaky and juicy without being greasy. Same with the fried shrimp and crab cakes. The potatoes and steak sandwich were seasoned just right. This was a great experience and we will definitely return next year at our next annual conference. Definitely the best flavor profile and service that we experienced this year in Ft Myers. The chefs are geniuses and have a deft hand at preparing an unforgettable meal. If you don 't come by here, you are missing out on a great meal.Dietary restrictions: They were very conscious of our friend that has a shellfish allergy and they offered a great selection of foods that would be safe and prepared separately.
Popped in here for happy hour on our mother-in-law’s advice. She was on point! We enjoyed some happy hour oysters and beer before we set out for dinner but then had to order another round of oysters and beer because they were so good! I also tried their twist on an old fashioned called “The Knowledge of Good and Evil”. It was good! A little sweet for me but I had to try it.The rest of the menu looked great as well but we had made dinner reservations elsewhere. We will be back to have the full experience soon! The beer list was excellent and the bourbon selection is also great. The ambiance is super cool and the server we had was super attentive and friendly. If you like good, fresh tasting oysters and a great selection of beer/bourbon you have to stop in here!We will be back!
Great food; nice an clean place. Best oysters I had in the west coast . Super friendly and welcoming staff. Great price to value . Will definitely recommend
Found this restaurant exploring for a new place to eat with Mumma. Cool set up, love the openess and it was a beautiful night. Doors go up so you feel like your outside. Service took a little bit time get to us, she brought some bread, ice water and drinks came soon after. Bread ?was warm n yummy. Mumma had the PEI *Prince Edward Islands* Mussels in Champagne n red curry sauce. Of course we shared. Mumma liked them, I am more of garlic in my mussels gal, but that's my taste, but it was good. We also shared the Cracker Baked Cod, it was cooked to perfection, but wish there was more of it. Asparagus were very tasty as were the roasted potatoes ? ?. I was very satisfied, a little overpriced, but understand in this economy right now and it was delicious so don't mind when its good! I would definitely go back and try to sit at bar, server was super friendly, but super slow. Maybe that is the kind of atmosphere they want to portrait though, slow paced to enjoy your time there. Is a nice concept with all the hustle n bustle here in Swfl. That is my take, overall very good.
