7-eleven - Fort Myers

So my husband insisted we go to this 7- eleven as we ran out of propane and it 's close. The store is clean and neat. We paid for a propane exchange. Then it gets strange. The clerk told us they did not want to get us our propane as the propane cage sticks and it hurts their shoulder to open the cage . After a few minutes of listening to why getting propane is so difficult, we wondered if we were getting service or not. Finally another associate stepped in and helped us out. Getting propane should not be this difficult.

I love our community 7-Eleven! The staff is constantly working fast to assist the increased amount of morning customers, and they are always kind and friendly in the process. The leader, Paula, makes me feel like I’m part of the 7-Eleven family. She goes out of her way to ensure that she has the product you’re looking for. I enjoy their items very much!

Great deal on gas! If you sign-up on their APP, you not only get points but for 7 gas fills, you get .11 cents OFF per gallon!

Employees were nice but getting propane was a hassle. Employee told me it was too hard to open the propane cage and it hurts her shoulder. Not sure why propane is offered, if it’s this difficult. Drove to Racetrac. Sorry but I’m going elsewhere for propane after this experience but will still purchase gas here.

I am posting a 2/5, while overall the store itself is fine there is 1 in customer service here who made the whole trip unpleasant. There is a woman, blonde, older who works there and she 's quite unpleasant. In fact, rude. We are newer to the Gateway area, but when I went to pay for gas inside she scoffed at me and stated, You know you save more if you would just go pay at the pump? I stated to her about skimmers and I did not want to risk it, she retorted back Oh please, we have all new machines here. It would be something if that happened here. She took my card and I typed in my number to use my rewards and she said oh my goodness! you have 17,000 points! What are you doing? you need to use those! I stated we do and we had more, however, she came back with wow well that 's insane. You need to get on the ball more go download the 7 11 app She does still work there and has since not given me a tongue lashing about my points and/or paying inside for gas, however, I would like to bring this to someone 's attention.While I do not know her name, the full address to the 7 11 is 12011 Gateway Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33913
