Junkanoo Below Deck - Fort Myers Beach

We visited this restaurant twice because we enjoyed it so much. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was ideal given its stunning beach location. Our waiters, Chris and Super Jim, were outstanding. If you're planning to catch the sunset, make sure to arrive early to secure a table, or you can sit at the bar when seats are available.

Great beach bar and prime location in Fort Myers to watch the sunset. The Works Pizza was delicious with very fresh tasting ingredients. It will be packed quickly from two hours before sunset, so plan ahead for an outdoor table.

There are very few restaurants left in the Naples area where you can have lunch or dinner on the beach. Junkanoo and Doc's are the 2 closest to Naples that are sometimes worth the drive depending on the traffic. We went for Valentine's day in 2022 and had a decent meal with good service and took a little walk on the beach afterward. The sun sparkling on the water and happy tourists enjoying what we locals take for granted always makes this a fun place to hang out.

Was nervous because of a few reviews, but this place was excellent! Friendly. Great atmosphere. Great sunset. Great food. Grouper bites were tasty. Our son liked the pulled pork and husband liked the shrimp and scallop wrap. Enthusiastic two thumbs up!
