I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience, and I have Open Table to thank for ruining my Valentine's dinner with my girlfriend. I made reservations about a week before the holiday, only to find out on Valentine's Day that they were canceled by Open Table due to a terminated partnership with Tappa's 51. When I tried calling the restaurant using the number provided, I discovered that the number is no longer in service. Overall, I'm very unhappy with Open Table.

The location closed and didn't bother canceling reservations until the day they closed when Open Table informed us (day before Valentine's Day.. a little late to be helpful)

We've had a fantastic experience with the food during both of our visits. The flavors are unique, and the dishes are executed perfectly. The service has been excellent on both occasions, with staff skillfully timing the courses and providing detailed explanations of the menu items. The only downside we've encountered is the noise level; the hard surfaces contribute to a very loud atmosphere when the restaurant is busy. It's not ideal for a quiet, romantic dinner. Additionally, the music is played quite loudly, which adds to the overall volume. We're eager to try the outdoor seating area when the weather warms up, as it looks like a fun spot.

We started with the guacamole appetizer, which was delicious, followed by the chorizo Brussels sprouts, which were also fantastic. We also tried the lamb fried rice, which was quite spicy but very tasty, and a skewered chicken dish. The sauce on the chicken wasn’t our favorite, but it was still a decent dish. Everything was flavorful and had a nice level of heat. For dessert, we ordered an apple dish that we also enjoyed. It wasn't overly sweet, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a bit pricey, and our waitress seemed to be having a rough night, but we still had a lovely dining experience.

Tapas 51 was great! The food was tasty and innovative. We all found plates that we loved. Our waitress was attentive gave us several great suggestions for what to order. We will definitely be back. My only wish is that it wasn't as loud.
