Really want to support this local business, but can't. Came in Saturday looking to try a Weller Aged Ribeye. But at 35/lb, that was a little too steep. But I felt bad and wanted to buy some stuff. Got some shrimp and put on ice for the ride home, but they were small and when I peeled for gumbo that night, they felt kind of dodgy, but tasted okay. Saltwater Markets located at 887 Gold Hill Rd I Fort Mill next to the Simply Self Storage facility (seconds from I77) is a fantastic Fish and Seafood Market plus Meats. They have a very wide variety of top quality seafood (I got their crab cakes today) with expertly butchered Meats, and their prices are very good for the quality you get.Very welcoming and helpful Staff as well.Highly recommended! Best fish market in the Carolina's. I drive 1 hour each week because everything is high quality and incredibly fresh. Saltwater gives back to their local communities and the entire staff is passionate about what they do. So very grateful for the Gastonia location as it is just a little bit closer to home.

Shrimp cost $16.99 a pound. I couldn't believe it and their not from the Gulf! This is 3 times more than it should be.I'll let you determine their rating.
