Wok Box - Fort McMurray

Stopped here because it is a chain and I thought it would be standard fare. Food did not taste especially fresh. Weirdly, my Pad Thai came garnished with a COLD, Hardboiled Egg? I like eggs, but I have never had Cold and Hard boiled on Pad Thai before.

We had take out dinner for two, the rice ginger beef and the tandoori chicken. The chicken was the better of the two we liked. Prices were fair, but not cheap, the service was fast and the place was clean. If you need a quick dinner to pick up and take home this is a good choice.

I've been to many wok box many time and to be honest it's never consistent other than the fact that it has really gone down hill in the last five years. The lady working was less than pleasant to the customers ahead of me and then myself. I ordered the butter chicken and green onion cakes and felt very rushed and in that forgot to order a drink nor was it offered to me. The fact that the service was like that I did not go back and get one. My food took a very long time to come out and every booth in the restaurant was dirty. When I went up to grab my food the women didn't seem to know what she was doing and asked me what sauce when with my green onion cakes that were definitely over cooked. My butter chicken however was quite good and they actually gave me extra sauce that I asked for. The restaurant itself is dark and dingy and not well maintained. I was hoping for better and don't see myself returning.

Fresh food prepared quite quickly however I would not consider this to be "fast" food. I had the Singapore beef noodles, it was really tasty. Convenient location down town. Seating for about 30 people.

Good quantity for the price , food is tasty. Went multiple times always recieved fat and friendly service. Recommend to everyone
