Old, dark, down and dirty. Living room Asked waitress about pizza and she was short and in her answer. Had a quick beer and hit the street. I don't spend money in places where the staff is rude. A star. Service: 1 atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.
Stopped in after seeing Clue at the Empress. It's been awhile since I've been here. We just got an appetizer platter. Decent food, service was really good. I visited Sept 2024 around 7pm and took over 90 minutes for me to order, recieve food, eat and pay. The resturant side was dead except one couple from USA. I took this as a fluke that it took over 90 minutes for just 1 person. Well fast forward to today and the same thing happened when I went 15 minutes after opening and I even had a kiddo with me. It took close to 40 minutes to receive a burger, clubhouse, one soup, and one fry. We were practically done eating when the waitress Rina came to check on how the food was and then ignored us for 15 minutes to gossip with the kitchen staff and other waitress. The kicker was when I had asked for soup options, and was told one, then the people that came in as we were finishing our food was told french onion as well as the chicken vegetable. The level of service is extremely poor and as someone who loved coming here, I will now be looking elsewhere.
Great comfort food. Old school club house, baked spaghetti, beef dip. Well priced for what you get. A nice small town little dive. If you are expecting a trendy atmosphere, you won’t find it here. Old booths, worn out cutlery and plates. Thats why it has such great character. Old school Work the stop driving if you are driving through Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
I was on my way to Montana from Calgary, so I decided to stop in and get dinner. I ordered a lasagna and mushroom burger, and they were delicious. I was on my way back so stopped and grabbed pizza. Pretty good as well. I tried there shrimp and crab pizza and thought it was tasty. The folks inside were very nice and friendly. I never dined in , but if I had more time I would have.
